What will states do with all the homeless?

With the economy the way it is and hundreds of homes going into foreclosure there will be a large surge of homeless people. How will the states deal with this? In other words where will we all go?

They're letting them set up tent cities. Some cities are also setting aside space for people to park so they can sleep in their cars.

Great, isn't it? We have plenty of money to bail out companies whose own shady practices got them into trouble and we have plenty of money to take care of illegal aliens, but none for homeless Americans.

i think all the homeless should petition for an amount of empty acreage somewhere with a livable climate, and using their own forces, and applying their own laws, design, and build their own city. a beacon and sanctuary for the homeless everywhere. Actualy, I cant belive this has not happened yet. In the not too distant past, all it took was a sparkle in the dirt for a town to evolve almost overnight. They need to organise.

People who lost their home or simply cannot find affordable housing are now migrating to tent cities in certain areas of the country. Sad huh?
