Is this statement grammatically correct (ENGLISH)?
'Can you go to this one place?'
'It's depending on where that one place is.'
I know that 'it depends on where that one place is' makes more sense, but is the former still correct?
'It's depending on where that one place is.' is the statement

Other people would understand "it's depending on," but it isn't correct and is never used in that form.
Native speakers would say: It depends on where the place is.
Good luck with your English! It's a very illogical and inconsistent language!

I will be the oddball and say that I cannot actually see anything grammatically wrong with the sentence. You probably want to use the simple present tense instead of the continuous present tense, but what you've said actually could make sense, depending on the larger context.
If, for instance, the first speaker was thinking of lending the second speaker his car, and the location of the "one place" would no longer make a difference to the second speaker if he could use the first speaker's car, what you've said is completely correct. Currently, the second speaker's ability to go to the one place "is depending" on where that one place is, but that might no longer be the case in the future.
Without such a context immediately surrounding those two sentences, though, you would want to use the present simple tense because no matter what happens, the second speaker's ability to go to the place will always depend on where the place is, or, at least, always will given the immediate context.

no, because it changes your statement and you do not have a way to describe what it's may be when you word it like that. to be grammatically correct i would use "it depends on where that one place is." when you leave it to say "it's depending," then it's like you are saying an incomplete statement and you would have to add to it, like if you said, " I have to work so, it's depending on where that one place is." if used this way then it would be correct. i hope i helped you!

The statement should be a tag of a previous statement separated by a semi colon.
Example: It was reported that one part of San Francisco is a good place to live due to economics; it's depending on where that one place is.

I don't think it's correct, I would go with
it depends on where that one place is

No, the former isn't correct but the latter is.
"Can you go to this place? It depends on where that place is."
Now that sounds much better, doesn't it?
What you originally suggested was really informal/spoken English and downright colloquial speech - so to speak.
Glad to help!

Each and every are both singular and require a singular pronoun. correct grammar would be: Every student needs to understand his current ability. However, that has been subjected to the slings and arrows of rampant political correctness, so to avoid that, there are two choices: Every student needs to understand his or her current ability. To avoid the extra words, the other solution is to go to a plural construction. All students need to understand their current ability You may see and hear things like 'Every student needs to understand their current ability,' but that still grates on some people's nerves - I'm included in that group.

NO I don't think it is. 'It's depending on where that one place is.' 'It's depending.' refers to if something is depending on another person/thing.
'It's depending on where that one place is.' What is 'It' what's depending on that place. you see it just doesn't make sense.

You don't need "one"
Say this:
-Can you go to this place?
-It depends on where that place is.

i think the right one is "It depends on where it is".
