Is anyone even remotely upset that Martin Brundle is the only ITV-F1 team member that's going to the BBC?

I'm glad that the BBC have decided to keep Mr Brundle on, but I'm not going to shed any tears over the rest of the team - maybe Louise because she knows so many of the drivers she can usually get to talk to them quite quickly - but I definitely won't miss James...

It's a shame that Steve Rider and Mark Blundell won't be on their way over but I expect Coulthard to be much more interesting than Blundell anyway. The good news is that Brundle will be making his was over.
I like Martin, I think he's an excellent commentator. He's not as biased as James and knows a hell of a lot more about the sport and commentating in general. James and Ted won't be missed. James was annoying and Ted was the kind who just told everyone what they already knew.
Louise was pretty good, but sadly far from irreplaceable. She was only really good with the people she had a good rapport with which was Button and Coulthard.

Am so glad they've got Legard from Five Live; he's knowledgeable and has the rare gift of being able to COMMENTATE. Not just talking but describing what he's seeing to a 'blind' audience. Inspired choice Beeb.
As for Coulthard. . .well, i kinda did reckon it was in the bag was for him-see link below, I can only hope he enjoys it - he isn't backwards in coming forwards and maybe he would be an interesting replacement for Martin on the gridwalk?
I won't be sad to see James go, hey, it gives him more time to write a book on his F1 memories. I'll be sad to see Louise go but sometimes her chumminess with the Brit drivers got a bit too uncomfortable-all the little in-jokes- I do wish them both well for the future.
Crumbs, Formula One Racingback on the BBC, I cannot wait. Haha!!!

Oh wow thanks for that. I was really hoping they would take Martin Brundle cos I think he's a great commentator. I was hoping they would take Louise Goodman as well but I'm not too fussed about James Allen or Ted Kravitz. I find Steve Rider very annoying with his wobbly microphone and weird sausage fingers but I think they should have taken across Mark Blundell also
It's cool that DC's joining the team though

Personally im a bit said that Ted Kravitz isnt going to the beeb with Brundle simply because I think he does his job quite well and I do like reading his notebooks which are published after the race as well so a bit sad about him but not that fussed about the rest to be honest

It was Schumacher. I think it would be cool to be driven around by Mr Brundle. Don't forget, he did snap an F1 car in half during the 1996 Australian GP :o) Good luck!

Brundle is the only 1 really worth saving though Louise Goodman is very good. Getting DC is fantastic IMO.

I know many people will disagree but I think James Allen hasn't done too bad a job. Sure, he goes on non-stop about Hamilton but he is fairly knowledgable and has been commentating for many years now. Maybe they should keep him on as a pit lane reporter like he used to be. (Cue the hate mail!)

No, not upset at all. Take it or leave it. Steve Rider, Mark Blundell etc, they're ok, but it was vital to keep Brundle. Now we need to find the next Murray Walker...

It would have been nice to see a few more come across. Ride, Goodman and Blundell all do a good job, but at the same time it's probably time for a bit of a shake-up.
Hopefully Murray Walker will do the odd special as well.

It would have been nice if they'd hired Louise since she was familiar with all the drivers and they all seemed at ease with her and willing to answer her questions even right after crashing or being in an accident.
