Who will help the abused women of Afghanistan?

Do you believe that the assassination of the woman police officer in Afghanistan is a crime? There is much to be done to free the women of Afghanistan from the brutal resurgence of the Taliban. If you believe that women are a vital part of all societies, please help the women of Afghanistan. Please visit the website Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) http://www.rawa.org/index.php. RAWA is the oldest political/social organization of Afghan women struggling for peace, freedom, democracy and women's rights in fundamentalism-blighted Afghanistan since 1977.

Update:

I wonder how wanting to help the women of Afghanistan somehow diminishes interest in wanting to help abused women all over the world, including in the US. Why does one preclude the other?

And by the way, violence in Afghanistan is INSTITUTIONALIZED. At least in the US, it's not.

Look at Iraq, women could not attend university, were required to live in the muslim war. The US troops changed things, women got their rights, now attend college. Hopefully the Afghanistan war will do the same thing.
