Where do I go from here? I spilled water on my Macbook Pro.?
I spilled water on my Macbook Pro. I didn't shut it off, it shut off on its own almost immediately. I got all the water out and let it dry out for a few days before trying to touch it. I plugged it in and the battery charged according to the light on the plug. I can hear the fan and some other normal "computer noises" so I am reassured somewhat, but the buttons are unresponsive (including the power button) and the screen is black! What to do?

If you have a warranty that covers accidental damage, then call the number they gave you.
If you have no warranty, or your warranty is 'standard' (ie doesnt cover accidents you caused), then your laptop is a big paperweight unless you wanna spend a few hundred dollars to have it repaired.

Some circuits inside the laptop may have short-circuited and got damaged. WIthout further damage, take it to a professional who will deal with this.
