I spilled water on my Macbook Pro. I didn't shut it off, it shut off on its own almost immediately. I got all the water out and let it dry out for a few days before trying to touch it. I plugged it in and the battery charged according to the light on the plug. I can hear the fan and some other normal "computer noises" so I am reassured somewhat, but the buttons are unresponsive (including the power button) and the screen is black! What to do?

I read on about.com that having ammonium lauryl sulfate in a shampoo will wash out semipermanent hair dyes quicker than shampoos without it. Out of curiosity, I read the labels for my sort of expensive color protecting shampoo and to my chargin it contained ammonium lauryl sulfate!! Does anyone know anything about this? I'd really love to preserve my hair color.

I am currently a music major (Vocal Performance) who is planning to transfer after obtaining my AA to earn a bachelor's in Art History. I am very fimiliar with music programs, but completely lost when it comes to Art History! Please help! All types of program recommendations are welcome, I am just looking for a starting ground for my research.

I can scrape off most of the major chunks with a spatula, but how do I get off the little chunks? Is there any cleaner that could disolve wax? I want it to look as shiney and pretty as the day I bought it!

Today I did a really hard workout on the elliptical machine and I felt great after I was done, except the area on my head right behind my ears hurt really bad! Why?

I hear a lot of things about how couples who live together before they get married usually get divorced more and have unhappier relationships, why? Do some couples cohabitate and then have happy marriages?

For example, I did half a cup of flour instead of a full cup, does that mean for the resting and rising I can do half an hour instead of one hour?

What are you supposed to do with it? Is it just for decoration?

I think it is a stick of butter wrapped in a chicken breast and breaded and baked. Is it hard to make? Is there something that I should make before it to help practice? If you have made it, do you have any other advice?

My vet gave me a toothbrush and told me to go get kitty toothpaste and to brush his teeth regularly. Today I tried to brush my cat's teeth for the first time, and it is extremely difficult (of course). I just end up getting it all over his chin and he licks it off. At least he likes the taste! Has anyone ever been successful? Or can anyone offer advice beyond just holding him down really well?
