What is required to get a title to abandon vehicle?
I have the opportunity to pick up a couple of bikes left at a shop for the cost of the repair bill. They have been sitting there for at least 36 months. No one knows where the owner is and phone number on invoice is disconnected. The last thing I want is to get these beauties only to never be able to sell them legitimately.

there is a place in nevada i use for the bikes i restore,its called international title servic.the cost is 160.00 for the title and plate for 1 year.after the 1 year you go to your local dmv and title it in your state.

If the bikes are at a shop, the shop owner can apply for and get what is called a mechanics lean title. With out that i would stay away from the deal.
