I'm looking for suggestions on the best for it's price, front load washing machine?

These new front loaders are a scam that the manufacturers are using to try to appeal to your sense of besting the Jonses. And it's working! The front loaders are energy savers, certainly, but it would take you many, many years to make up that savings over the good old fashioned workhorse of a top loader. They are extremely hard to keep balanced and so far they seem to be having a great deal of mechanical problems. Unless you have more money than God, I would really do my homework before investing. Looks and style aren't everything.

A couple years ago, I got a front loading GE washer and dryer for about $900 delivered from the Home Depot. They had a free delivery and interest-free financing special. I can't remember the model numbers. But, they have specials like that all the time.

Keep in mind, though, that these are slightly smaller than the big, high-capacity washer-dryers out there. But, I needed a somewhat smaller unit anyway, because my laundry closet is kind of small.
