There is no way, the only way to get a word perfect document to a Microsoft Word is to save the first one as an Enriched text document and then when you go to open it on the Microsoft Office, it will convert quickly and easily.

All you have to do is open Microsoft Word, go to file->open then on the second drop down box select "all files" navigate to you wordperfect document and then open it, Word will convert it automatically so you can work with it. After this all you have to do is save it as a Microsoft word document like you would any other document

First, make sure the document is on your hard drive, not in an online email account somewhere. Then open Word 2007 and select OPEN and point to the file you want to open. It should automatically convert it and open it. Then you can save it as a .doc or .docx file.

Not sure that it will make a difference, but I did a complete install of Word when I installed Office. If you did not do this, you may want to have your setup disc handy in case it needs to install additional converters.

It should be fine? Word is Word? If you need to open up your own "M.Word" blank file/document, I think that upper left hand corner, with the red icon, is where you'll find a page to use...and open up the Word Perfect. Copy and paste into your new blank M.Word document, save it as "________" and then close them up. Now attach your new "M.Word ________" to your email, and you'll be fine. What isn't 'reading' your Word Perfect? Microsoft also has 'help' to get the procedures step by step...

You can save it as a rich text format. after you name it change the extension to .rtf, it should open with anything then.
