I had a tummy tuck 3 years ago and the results were absolutely amazing! My stomach is flat again!! I had 8 pounds of loose skin removed. I still have a scar almost from hip to hip, but it is getting much lighter.

The only thing that is still weird is that my surgeon had to cut a new hole for my belly button and I never regained feeling there. The recovery was long and very painful...but definitely worth it. I stayed out of work for 3 weeks and had to stay overnight at the hospital because I have a heart condition and they just wanted to be careful.

I also bought a cushion from http://www.contourliving.com/p-21-backmax-body-wed... It kept my back propped up and made life so much easier. My doc said I had to sleep at a 45 degree angle for the first 4 - 6 weeks.

Oh, and ask about the Pain Pump. I don't know if all surgeons offer it or not, but you should ask. It releases pain medication for 3 days, I think I would have gone crazy without it.

    I hope this helped.

    Good Luck!!!
