  • Blood sugar of 76 two hours after eating - is this normal?

I am three and a half years post-op gastric bypass surgery. Because of this, I now tend to occasionally have slightly low blood sugar. Just wondering if a blood sugar of 76 two hours after eating is ok? Will probably be going to an endocrinologist just to be on the safe side to talk about hypoglycemia and how to best manage it. Thank you in advance for your answers! :)

Does anyone in the medical field know what the above might indicate? My friend had these low lab values on recent blood work. Doc said to follow up in 90 days. Thanks!

  • 4 year old not potty trained yet?

My friend's 4-year-old son is not potty trained yet. Is it possible that she is somehow contributing to his not being potty trained? She talks about him like he is a baby and calls him a baby all the time. Could she be unconsciously holding him back because she doesn't want him to grow up?

  • Husband complimenting wife?

Is this just a "guy thing" or is it just my husband..... My husband does not understand that it's nice to give a compliment once in awhile.... like "you look beautiful" or some sexy comments during love making. He thinks that since he has said it at least once in the past, he should not have to say it again, and if he does, it means I don't believe him. I do NOT look for constant compliments nor do I "need" them. I just don't understand the way he feels. Serious replies please -- immature stupid comments, don't bother.

  • Panic attacks while dozing off to sleep?

When I'm just dozing off to sleep, I suddenly wake up with a panicky feeling with my heart pounding and feeling like I'm "dying" and this feeling of impending doom. This happens every night. I have been under a lot of stress, and now I dread going to bed. Anyone else had this? Serious replies please.

  • Olay Definity - skin "rolling" off???

I am using the entire Olay Definity line for about three weeks now. I am noticing every day that "something" (skin?) is rolling off my face in little "globs". Has anyone else experienced this while using Definity? Is this dead skin rolling off or is this just globs of the cream?

  • Flu or cold - how do I know the difference?

I started with a really bad sore throat yesterday, and it is very sore today. I am sneezing too and my nose is stuffed. I have a headache and feel really tired and achy. Does this sound like a cold or the flu? Too late to go to the doctor today.

  • Abdominal "shivering"?

I am having what feels like "shivering" in my abdominal area and around to my back. It feels like when you've been out in the cold too long. I have irritable bowel syndrome and have been under extreme stress lately. It is always there, but I notice it the most when I am lying down in bed at night. It makes me even more anxious and then keeps me awake. Sorry to be gross, but if I let out a really big burp, it gets a little better temporarily. Has anyone ever experienced this?

  • Re-gifting for a wedding gift?

I have been re-giving new and unopened gifts that I have received over the years, and only recently discovered that there is a name for this - "re-gifting". I have a beautiful new, unopened, wine set with decanter and glasses. My husband and I never drink alcohol, so we will not use the set. Is it OK if I give it to someone as a wedding gift?
