Why not bail out Social Security?

They sure are fast to bail out the banks, but when it comes to social security it seems like no one is willing to act. Does the governmentreally wan to bail out the banks for the man in the streets?

The baby boomer (politicians) have ruined our system. They won't bail out social security because it won't effect them. They are like rats living day to day and are not concerned with the welfare of their children. I think bailing out social security is a good idea, but politicians are more concerned with wall street.

Over the years, they have bailed out SSI several times. Congress keeps raising SSI taxes, and when they have a savings account capable of sustaining future SSI, they take it out and spend it on pet projects.

Then they say SSI needs saving again, raise the SSI taxes, collect enough to make it solvent, take it out and spend it, then say SSI needs saving again, raise the SSI taxes, -----

It has been the cycle during my entire old tired life.

Why not bail out alot of things. That's the reason so many people are against this whole thing.

I don't have the answer but it's a good question. It might even cost less then $700,000,000,000. Let wall street and the credit markets work it out without our tax dollars.

We don't need no fkin bailout. The markets have already started rebounding without one. Just last week, the way they were talking we should all be in a depression by now!

    Crock of chit!
