Who can help me on this photo Question?

I have some photos printed on kodak paper; can I take them in to a photo shop to have them transferred on a disk so I can download them into my computer? Is it possible to do so? 10 points for the best answer Thanks

    Melody,

yes, many photo shops can do that for you. But you might save some money by asking your friends and family if anyone they know has a scanner or a digital camera or has experience with image manipulation software like Adobe® Photoshop®. I was surprised to find the clarity of my pictures printed on paper was reproduced better by using a hand held digital camera, than by my scanner! Then in Photoshop or other software, you can clean up any dust, color balance, crop the image, etc. There may be image altering freeware or shareware available on the internet if you search for it, but be careful, sometimes free software comes with unwanted adware, spyware or other unwanted/unintended complications.
