I think it's kind of pointless, personally. You and God know what you intend - if you want to wear a ring, then do it. I just don't think it's a promise that a young person can really enter into and realistically keep.I am not saying its impossible, just unlikely. But in the long term, it's truthfully no different than getting married, breaking your vows, and then getting married again - you wear a ring both times. The ring represents the intent to honor your word. It's your choice and if it makes you feel good do it.

How would the ring make you feel? If you choose to wear a ring as the reminder of the commitment you are making to God than this is fine. What's in your heart is most important but do not feel discouraged to wear a ring. God Bless
