Who will do better in tomorrows VP Debate?

Joe Biden, only because he has had the experience of being involved in many more debates than Palin probably ever will. And he plays hardball, I'm not sure how Palin will react to it.

I've been wondering about this. Often, the "winner" is about perceptions, rather than technical expertise. In the Nixon/JFK debate, people who listened to it on the radio thought Nixon won, but people who watched it thought Nixon looked tired and old, and perceived JFK as the winner.

Expectations are so low for Palin at this point if she manages to make grammatically correct sentences, doesn't have to say, "What-ever" when she can't think of the right word (probably "caricatured" but we settled for "mocked"), and makes coherent explanations of what she understands about any major issues, she will be perceived as "nailing it." Whether she actually has any skill as a debater actually has yet to be illustrated.

Joe Biden has a tough line to walk. If he is harsh or sharp, he risks being seen as "mean." If he doesn't confront her, he's risking being seen as a wimp getting his hat handed to him by a "girl."

I think Biden will take it with issue substance, but she may win points for political style. I hope she takes Geraldine Ferraro's advice and sticks with policy and substance. If she is glib, that is what will be remembered, for better or worse.

I detest "one liner" politics, but much of what passes for debate now days is little more than dueling sound bites. One of the "COMPLAINTS" I heard about the first Obama/McCain debate was that it was heavy in technical policy points. I found that to be one of the BEST aspects of the debate.

Biden, a lot of people think Sarah Palin will(because she went to debating school these past weeks).

But all Biden has to do is keep his cool and make her look like a fool. And I believe he can do that.

Biden SHOULD win, but he could also lose if he's too smug or puts his foot in his mouth. Provided he just sits back and lets Palin self destruct on her own, he'll prevail. She makes Dan Quayle look like one clever Potatoe.

I am hoping Biden does well but to tell ya the truth i am kind of worried Palin will surprise us all with some good trickery

Lets put it this way....those that bet on Palin should be immediately arrested....because they are so irresponsible with their money as to be obviously the dumbasses that got us into this latest financial mess. :)

This is not much of a question. Palin is going to get absolutely slaughtered....it is simply a matter of how badly.

Biden has the experience and should look better, but in true Biden form he will say something sexist and do more negative than positive.

Palin, she could show up and have her shoes on the right feet and the MSM will say Palin won.

After all she's been through with the media, she's just getting stronger.

I think she will outshine Biden.
