did anyone lose money in there 401k this week?

my 401k is down 10%

    Everybody lost money in their 401K this week unless they're 100% invested in fixed income funds. You need to look at this as a long term investment. 10, 20, 30 years. Over that period of time, this week, this month, this year will look like minor blip. Don't bail out at a market bottom, hang in there.

    Sure did. I lost a whopping 15%, but it could have been worse. I've heard tales of worse so I thought I did good. But stocks are down and there are some deals out there so I'm wheeling and dealing!!!

    Down 0.1% this quarter, but I switched to 95% fixed income in Aug 2007.

    I sure did...mine is down over 20% for this year
