computer screen keeps hibernating?
please help every time i turn my computer on the screen flashes and then goes into hibernation however the monitor will work fine on my daughters pc tower i have also tried a different monitor on my pc but that goes into hibernation does any body please know how to overide this so i can get into my control panel to change to settings any help would be greatly appreciated thankyou

odd ? can you start PC in Safe mode ? and see the screen ? If yes, then the screen resolution is set to high.
Are you sure your PC is actually on, and loaded (can you see Hard drive LED flashing) ?

go into control panel then power opitions untick enable hibernation and see if it does it then

richard p is right, the resolution is too high (out of range)
