my husbands colleague has worked at the company for 2years now today they rang him and told him there is no work tomorrow for him but to ring in for wednesday to see if there is work available then . he is employed by the company but the last 4 weeks this is a regular occurance we feel really sorry for him and his girlfriend as they rent a house owned by the boss so surely he must understand he cant keep laying him off for days WITHOUT PAY where there is no work available without some kind of compensation please could anyone advise me if this is legal or allowed any help would be appreciated thankyou

hi ive stupidely done a cv on a spread sheet but when i apply for a job over the internet and need to browse the file it says its not in word or pdf is there any way i can do this with out having to do it all again as i took me 5 hours is it possible to save maybe on a pendrive and change it then any help would be greatly appreciated thankyou

hi this sound stupid but i have a tree stump in my garden i have been axing away at it gradually the other day i spent around 5 solid hours chipping away at it when i gave up my hands were sore with the vibration of the axe but for the last 2 nights when in bed my fingers swell and i get pins and needles then numbness is this normal and if so will it go away any help would be greatly appreciated thankyou

hi ive just downloaded some driver for a pc that is broke in order for me to reinstall vista i need the media installion disk which i dont have i have download the drivers from acer but need to pu them on disk as the pc at present wont recognise a usb memory stick any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated thankyou
