Why are most men prince charming in the beginning?

because in the beginning they are busy trying so hard to kiss up to you to make you like them more, and once they realize that they got the girl "in the bag" so to speak, they ease up and don't act the way they used to because they know the girl loves them and w/e.

i think this is because, in the first years he wants to show off for u, and make u really love him. and then in 2 or 3 years later, he might get a little tired of impressing u, if he knows u already love him from the begining

They have to maintain themselves until they reach what we call the comfort zone. Women do it, too. After marriage, we let ourselves go - we don't wear as much make up, we don't dress an nice as we used to, we don't do all the things we used to do simply because - we're with the guy and we don't feel the need to impress them any more. Guys feel that when they are with ms. right, there's no need to keep up the show and put that much more effort into things because, hopefully, we love them for their personality and not what they can buy/do for us.

cause we dont feel the need to impress as often anymore youve been with us for a long time already so we might think that your happy with just being with us instead of wanting stuff from us all the time

because men end up thinking "oh well i tried for this girl and now that i got her i dont need to try anymore". for them its like studying for an exam and passing and not having to study for it again. i know it sucks. my husband was the same and now he just does do as much for me. he thinks "taking care" of me is the same thing. as in paying the bills...

beginning of any relationship is important. Remember, in the beginning you never meet the real "them" ;)
