Tipping etiquette for a chinese buffet restaurant?

I'm kinda new to the chinese buffet thing so I'm not sure what to do about tipping. Do you or don't you? It's not like in a restaurant where they serve you and a waiter/waitress takes your order. You have to go get the food yourself. But then again they do stuff like clear your table when you're done and get you something to drink so i'm not sure. What do i do?

And if you do tip then how much? And how do you do it? Do you leave the tip at the table?

Thank you everyone for whatever help you can give me.

Wow some people... to bad they are making $2.13 an hour. Believe it or not the tip is what the waiter/waitress/bartenders live on. I understand that they do not take your order and bring you out the food but they still pay taxes on your food you ordered. So if you wanted to short them I say 15% but really, the most it is going to cost you is an extra buck or two and you could make that persons day. if the bill is 20 buck then leave 4 - one should alway tip 20% and if it is a party of say 5 or more, I always do this... 20% of bill plus 1 dollar per person. It makes for a nice tip and the waiter will remember.

what you do at a buffet is tip a dollar or two per person in your party. you don't tip one the amount of the bill.

I only leave them $1.00 at these types of places. Call me cheap I've been called worse things LOL But they don't do anything but bring you a drink. Even at nice places I don't leave big tips unless the service is outstanding, it's not my responsibility to pay the restaurants employees it's theirs.
