can anyone help with a book on famous black people in history?

i have a 12 yr old half black boy, i want to get him a book on black history for christmas, everyone from Nelson M to jackie, to martin luther K. can anyone give me some ideas??

    You might be interested in Setting the Record Straight: American History in Black & White by David Barton. It's a fascinating account of little-known black politicians; those who were among the first to be elected to Congress and other political positions.

    You may also be interested in some of the following (found on Amazon...I listed them because they look very interesting and appear to be the types of books which I love & hopefully your son will, too):

    LOL! That occurred to me in intense college too, different than i'm Persian / Iranian. every time the instructor had some thing she did not comprehend, she constantly appeared at me and asked me. fortunately, I constantly knew the respond. isn't it unusual how something race appropriate constantly looks to make some Black human beings experience undesirable while all and sundry else would experience sturdy? i don't get that. i became so satisfied to sit down down there bragging and speaking approximately Iran like it became the main severe project to benefit, and yet you felt shamed and harm and annoyed. they even have achieved a quantity on you adult men, I swear.

    umm i don't think a 12 year old half black boy would really want books about black ppl.but if u want me to asnwer the question i'd do a girl like harriett tubman.idk y but i LOVE herand she has an AMAZING story that may interest ur youngster
