weve been together 6 years and i always felt we had the strongest bond. his daughter 15 has been dealing with addictions, shes run from us and disowned us. then 2 years later came back and said she wanted to come home. i said not alone with me. she can be here when her dad is home from work, but not when hes away working. we have 4 other teens between us. everyone has had enough of her. this caused a terrible rift between us. she hates me, has reffered to me as the ***** etc. anyways she will be moveing back in at the end of the month. she tried rehab but quit half way through. he dad has said shes comming home no matter how i feel. we have fought a lot over this and he has left me twice(but then told me the next day he didnt mean it) i have lost all my strength, ive become very weak and needy which is causeing more fights. i thought we could handle anything, but i see were not as strong as i thought we were. how do i get myself back?? ive become such a cry baby

my daughter 21 has been in an on off realtionship with a very abusive man. shes charged him, and hes done some time. he dissapears for a while then comes back. she has moved and done everything possible to stay away from him. theres been many restraining orders etc, he just walks right through them, many of the charges just get put off to probation, she has given up on the legal system because he just laughs at it and always gets off with warnings. i fear on day he will really hurt her or worse, the courts dont help at all and im at my wits end,im ready to do something illegal to help her get rid of him. does anyone have any suggestions.? has anyone been in this situation before?? the law is not on her side at all.....help!

i have a blended family,my kids are like me, tall and under weight. im forever trying to get them to eat! now, my step kids are the opposite...they are getting very over weight. how do i have food in house to try and get thin kids to eat, but everytime i turn my back the larger kids are eating me out of house and home? ive tried rules, the snack cupboard has a lock on it, but im not getting any where!! their dad whom works away from home dosent see an issue with weight, he says they will grow out of it. his side of the family comes from very large people. im afraid the youngest boy who just turned13 and sits at 160, is gonna get huge. any suggestions

my boxer is 2, hes taking to licking his feet raw. i cant stop him, i have some cream for dogs that supposed to stop him from licking....but he likes the bitter taste lol any ideas or home remidies to get him to stop!?

been together 4 years, he has 3 kids i have 3 kids. two years ago his ex passed and we got his 3 kids. at the same time he got promoted to new job which takes him out of town(hes away for 2 weeks home for a week)we have always split the house hold bills and expensises 50/50 even thought he makes triple what i make. our kids range from20 yrs(she dosent live at home)16.14,14,13,12. i work in construction which was hit hard this year, so ive been on EI but still working casually. hes getting upset about the money situation, right now hes putting in about 75% and i do what ever i can. hes getting upset that i better find another job, or work more hours...do what ever i have to do to change the situation..my way of thinking:if things dont change i know i will have to find a new job, and probally take a serious wage cut, but i refuse to work 12 or 14 hours or shift work because i also have kids at home to raise. i deal with all the childrens needs wants problems etc. money is important but the kids also need a mom at home. im not suzy homemaker, because i do work fulltime, but i belive its important for these kids to have a parent around, were not gonna starve or lose our home...things are just tight. he dosent belive i should be worrying about this, the kids are old enough to handle things on their own,i dont know if im makeing any sense here but i feel i should get more credit for raising our children on my own. and maybe he should be thank full that hes with a women that loves his kids enough to want to be here to raise them. its to easy now a days to work all the time and not spend anytime with children. kids still need someone there for them, not money in the bank

ok we live common law, he has kids, i have kids. is there any possible way to claim our taxs as single or do we have to claim as common law??

im very interested in studying wicca,im very spiritual but not religious.my family is nervous, the kids only know what they see in movies...everyone thinks its dark or evil. anyways, ive been studying books but have a little trouble understanding everything. Is there a site or book that would make studying this a little easier??

we are a naturally thin family, my 13 yr old boy is very thin and has no interest in food. is there anything i can do for him to make him more hungry and eat more....hes way to thin.

we are a blended family, he has a job which takes him away from home, im here 24/7 with his 2 and my 2 kids. we have always halved all the bills...everything is 50 50. its hard cause he makes twice as much as i do. Anyways my job is gone(painter in construction) there's no work anymore in our town. im trying to find a new job now but im not gonna make it when i will be working for probally half my wage i was making before. im not gonna be able to do my part anymore...i feel like im letting our family down.Any ideas on how to fix this??

my girl is driving me nuts, shes started peeing on the floor when were all gone through the day, and eating anything she can get a hold of off the counters. she goes out in the morning and at lunch, so theres no reason for this. i want to put her in a kennal when were not here. is it to late to train her with this?? i know it has to be big enough for her to stand and turn around in

i have been trying some pills, they affect me really bad. they made me extremly aggressive and it was scary so i was wondering about these other methods.

i have been very sick with a head cold, due to the wrong advice by a doctor i have ripped my ear drum.this happened monday night it is now thursday. through the night my ear had popped again due to my very congested head and pressure, i was up for hours with the pain, i guess im wondering is this pain normal for a busted ear drum??

my girl is 19, has a 7month old baby,on and off relationship with the babys father who has just recently become violent with her, resulting in 2 domistic abuse charges against him. she still wants to be in touch with him, because he is the babys father(ya right) anyways, i was beat on for 10 years....she seen all this, she knows what its all about. when do i stop trying to fight her battles when she wont even fight for herself? she says that was in the past, she knows it could happen again but is hopeing it wont. i cant keep trying to convince her. shes not a stupid girl... just blind with him

he dosent drink all the time, but some hard drinks make him mean. the kids and i know this.....they have asked me to tell him no hard drinks when he comes home for christmas holidays(he works out of town) how do i request this to him with out making him upset, we all want a happy christmas, not to be walking on egg shells. what do i say??
