If your eardrum ruptured, the pain usually lessens shortly afterward, since the pressure is relieved and the ear can drain. You need an ENT specialist to examine your ear and determine treatment. When the ear pops, it is usually the eardrum making the pop as the eustachian tube opens to equalize pressure inside and outside of the middle ear.

First of all, I hope you have some Sudafed. It's a decongestant, it will help with that stuffyness. I heard a broken eardrum is extremely painfull. And if you can still hear thru' it make an appointment with an ear, nose and throat doctor. He'll be able to fix it.
