yahoo help needed please.?
i have accidentally pressed the thumbs down icon to an answer instead of the thumbs up. is there any way to correct this. i have tried going back into the site and pressing the right one but it tells me it can't do it and to try again. part of the reason is probably my twitchy finger and an ultra sensitive mouse. i tend to feel bad when i do this as they are usually very good answers and i just muck it up.

As others have said, it's not possible. Some people email or IM the person to explain and apologize, but that's not always possible. Most people here have done that at least once, so most of us realize that a TD on a good answer could just be an accident, and try not to get too upset about it.
For future reference, other things that can't be changed here are:
- 'thumbs up'
- votes for 'best answer'
- 'reporting' a question or answer.

lol, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I don't think there is a way to reverse it, I've tried as well. I'm more careful now.

I researched the question in the "Answer" archives, I'm afraid your stuck with the rating you chose. =(
