How does this sound?? Additions?

3 boxes jiffy cornbread mix

1 small container sour cream

6 eggs

1 cup green salsa

1 cup shredded cheddar

mix and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until done-

the only thing I can think of is to add butter on top about 5 minutes prior to done. want a savory, not sweet cornbread- any suggestions?

I'll add fresh poblano chile peppers and more cheese, maybe some Monterey Jack cheese? and I might replace the cornbread mix with flour, but that's me...

and add a lil meat (diced chicken)

First if you don't want sweet you shouldn't use jiffy cornbread, it is sweet. You also might try adding onions, green or red peppers, and fry up some chorizo to add to it. You started with a good idea and all kinds of combinations can me made from it. Play with it several different ways. I actually like to buy the jalapeno cornbread mix and add different things to it.

I think there should be a "delete this answer" button that puts the answer on the top of the list and asks people if they think it should be deleted. Maybe a remove points button if the delete one doesn't work. They should also have a button you press to give the person a points bonus regardless of if it is the best answer.

If you want a little more fire, you can add jalapenos.
