???Where did Obama get his defeatist white flag approach to politics, isn't plotting to surrender Un-American?

I absolutely loath Bush's War; but every single American is in it up to the lips and drowning in the backwash of Bush's folly.

But to come so far and turn back will strike a devastating blow to all the World. It will justify the Crusade argument from Islamic extremists. and tear the $3 Trillion dollar expenditure in half like an old lottery ticket.

Does Obama want the World History to read we defeated the Infidel Crusaders in 1000, and we defeared them again in 2000 Allah Akbar.

The purpose of the war was a lie. The "progress" reports were distortions.

It is clear that Bush 41 had it RIGHT: leave Saddam Hussein in power as a buffer between civilization and Imanutjob in Iran. Allow Hussein to sap Imanutjob's resources until his own country overthrows him.

Great ideas from Bush 41. Then came the neocon geniuses and destroyed the fruits of the first Gulf War with their incompetence.

We need out of the box thinkers to get the balance back in the Middle East. McSame actually has deluded himself to think that a US base in the Middle East is possible.

Please America, do not vote for this senile old man. We need judgment, not backward looking folks. To your question, Obama does not represent surrender, he is the only person running who offers a chance of victory.

There is nothing wrong with admitting a mistake. Obama spoke out against the invasion of Iraq before it was the thing to do. It's something he feel strong about. How much sense does it make to continue to make the same mistake over and over, at the cost of so many lives? When there's a huge f**k up, we should be able to admit it, change it and move on. If we're "drowning in the backwash of Bush's folly", why should we carry on with the wastefulness?

This war was a mistake from the beginning. The way to fix a mistake is not to keep doing the same thing. Einstein defined insanity as repeating the same action over and over and expecting different results. We have been there longer than we had WW2. If your theory is correct, we would still be fighting in Viet Nam.

This is a war of choice. My family lost someone we loved dearly there in February. Many lives have been shattered and lost. Enough have died. Get them home NOW. This is not a football game. These are lives of people with families and it hurts like heck that they have died or wounded in body or spirit for life for lies and greed by the Bush administration.

I wish that Obama was president when ours was still alive. Maybe he would have had the guts and sense to get our guys home and my two nephews would still have their father instead of visiting his grave in Arlington Cemetary.

Yes, us submitting to the will of the Iraqi people and leaving their country like they want us to is certainly a white flag of surrender. Using your arguments, we will never be able to leave and Al Qaeda continues to exist all over the world. How will killing all the sharks in the Mediterranean get rid of all the sharks in the world?

In Obama's mind it is not a defeat but a win to the side he supports. That side is not the USA
