Honestly, not really. I was a binge eater in the past, and from my experience you'll feel guilty after eating all that unhealthy junk then start bingeing again. The way I beat my binge eating was realizing that I need to stop dieting and develop something that will last me a long time; a lifestyle. Eat healthy! Have a colorful diet with lots of fruits and veggies. Only eat when you're hungry (and I mean actually hungry, not just wanting to eat) and stop eating when you're not hungry, not until you're full. Drink plenty of water and workout. Also, drink a glass of water before you eat, because you might just be thirsty and not hungry, and it also makes you feel full quicker. Eat small portions of food, because if you're like me, I ate everything that was in front of me and couldn't stop until it was gone. Stop worrying so much about how many calories things have, as this causes anxiety which leads to being overwhelmed and giving up, then bingeing. Food is a necessity, not a pleasure. Try not to eat after six, because that's when you're relaxed and when the calories stay in your body and turn into fat. Go to bed hungry, it makes you feel thinner and you wake up feeling good. Hope this helps. After I started doing these little things I felt allot better, was stress-free, and lost allot of weight, like 20 pounds. Good luck :)

Hi there, While I think you have asked a valid question as well as supplied a reasonable menu suggestion for yourself to take, I think the best thing for you is to go speak to a nutritionalist or a doctor regarding your health issues because binge eating is not something to be taken lightly. Binge eating has to do with emotional health and I don't think for a 5'5" person of 139lbs, you don't sound like you need to lose more weight. I understand this is probably a personal issue for you and you want some help and some advice, but the best thing is to address it with a person who is certified in assisting you with healthy and reasonable answers. If you are working out, you may have more muscle than fat and therefore you should have your BMI (body mass index) checked out because that's more important then the scale based on how much you weigh. Ask your local gym or go online and look up BMI to see the range of how much you should be for your age and your height, then have yourself measured. As for eating habits, your menu sounds like you need more protein and less caffeine and sugar. In order to burn fat or lose weight, some lean protein needs to be in there. Cutting back calories helps but in the long run you will go into a starvation diet, lose the weight but not gain the long term eating habits needed to stabilize and keep your weight. I would add things like almonds, salmon, chicken and vegetables to your diet and drink lots of water. Egg whites are good for breakfast. Most of these coffee drinks are just sugar so your blood sugar level is going to get soaring high. Researching your eating habits and finding healthier alternatives is a start. Working out is good for you, I would eat at least 3 hours before you work out. Running, walking, anything is good for you. Just work into it in moderation. One plus, if you want to lose weight, you need to burn resistance and so if you use the elliptical machine, try using the interval training which is resistance and burns more fat in less time then just using the elliptical at like 30-45mins. Intervals at level 9 burns more in 20 mins. It can cut off half the time. Good luck! And please talk to a nutritional councelor or your physician before you do any more diet changes that could be harmful.

This diet seems to be quite good
What i would do if you find that you are not losing any weight study the nutrition facts and see which meal or snack has the most fat.
then the calories ect.
good luck

a lot of your menu is loaded up with junk foods. I would not even call them food. Im not sure what kind of control you are looking for, but the word controll is usually a disorder which will lead you back to binging. I cannot give the kind of advice you need. Prof. advice would be in order for a binge eater. thanks for listening Lee span
