How does one compete in The Isle Of Man TT?

Update:

Really? Just an ACU license? Cool! Id rather concentrate on real road racing, so i dunno about club racing.....Isnt the TT and the Manx completely different from short circuit??

Update 2:

Moreover, how does one compete at the macau gp? The website dubs it an invitational. So how does one vie for a leftover spot not taken up by the TT regulars? maybe the 600cc class?

One gets a ACU race license, a fast bike, a crew of about 10 / 15 staff. A race truck, a motorhome, a re-mortgage on their home to find about he £15/20, 000 needed to race the Senior.

If you have never raced before, please dont even bother racing the TT. The track is a killer and not for a novice.

Try club racing to start with, then after a few years, give the Manx TT a try.

    2. Grow testacles the size of water melons - you need big balls to go round there.

3.- Have an immense amount of talent - you need to be good to go round there.

4 - Talk to your bank manager - you need a fair amount of wonga to race round there.

5 - Stock up on condoms - you will instantly become a sex god if you can go fast round there.

6 - Get a good nights sleep - chances are you are like the rest of us and in your dreams is the only way that you will ever get to - go round there!

Edit - Wiggysan, you are mixing with some real spoilt racers :-) Couple of my mates raced on the Island, did it out of their van with a crew of one other mateand motorhomes are for puffs !!!
