Just because someone is Buddhist does not mean they cannot commit violence. The Thai, Lao, Bermese are all Buddhist, so are many Japanese and Koreans. Buddhism doesn't stop violence in those countries.

Many Christians say they are peace loving and non-violent and yet they readily go to war and kill people.

Just believing in non-violence does not prevent violence.

To Gerad, maybe only Jesus saves, but clearly he does not save everyone who follows him, as all the followers abused by preachers, from many Christian denominations, will attest. As for gays, tell that to the evangelist who was found to be having homosexual relationships with male prostitutes. Was he feeling like Jesus would save him, too? Or was he just following Satan?
