Let's see.
One was a POW war hero who refused early release until all previous POW prisoners were let go before him. He languished in the Hanoi Hilton for five years. As a senator, he's won rave reviews for standing up to special interests and working bipartisanly
The other is a had an 80% approval rating as her state's governor.
I think anyone who thinks they are an embarrassment are themselves an embarrassment!

No, not really.
Even Palin (the running mate) is more qualified than Obama.
So many women say she is against women's rights, but they are against a woman's right to be president. Have you noticed that Hillary hasn't said anything against her?
Geraldine Ferraro has praised her, and that is saying something. Ferraro wouldn't support her if she was against women.
Calling Palin dumb is a slur against women.Trust me, she is smarter than her detractors. She's governor of a state for crying out loud.

Are you retarted? An embarrassment? You have no idea what your talking about. Mccain has done alot of great things. Even the liberal democrats like him, they may disagree with some policies but no of them say that hes an embarrasement. You are absolutely clueless.

Yes. In fact that they are viable candidates, makes it a great embarrassment not only to Americans, but free men throughout the world.

How is McCain an embarrassment to America. He went and fought for our country. And did you watch the debate. Obama is the liar. McCain would support what he had to say about Obama's issues, but Obama would just sit there and say "that's not true" and didn't support it.

I think Bush is an embarrassment.
I am a little embarrassed that, after 8 years of Bush, so many people still want McCain/Palin who represent a continuation of the same policies and programs. But I'm glad to see that a majority of Americans see the problems with Bush's type of presidency and are looking for a change.

What's more humilating is all the talking heads that try to make her sound likd a reasonable choice. Since when is not falling on your face in a vp debate considered a success? What a joke. Did she even answer any question that was asked of her? OMG

So true, and what get me is that some fail to realize that the world is watching us make a fool out of the Presidential process. Then we want to try and tell other countries how to run their elections.

Says very little for the Republicans when out their entire party they come up with such sub-standard and unacceptable candidates.
I'm guessing that the wise and capable Republicans don't want the job and all of the bs that goes with it.
