McCain gives up Michigan... and defends NEBRASKA?

We all know that the McCain campaign conceded the fight in Michigan to Obama. We all know that Obama has a strong lead nationally and nearly every swing state, but now:

Sarah Palin is tomorrow holding a rally in Omaha, Nebraska? The congressional district of the reddest of red states is actually in play?

Not to get ahead of ourselves here, but having the VP nominee out to defend a Republican stronghold less than 30 days before the election is a telling sign, no?

She was in California.  A state not likely to vote for her.  She is going to be in Florida where they have a good chance to win.  Bear in mind she is thinking beyond this election.

Michigan is a lost cause.  The only hope for their economy is to get enough Muslim immigrants into Detroit to turn the place around.  The productive people have largely fled that taxaucracy.

McCain sends Palin to places where no one will hear her.  He can't risk intelligent people listening to her put random words together.  She is stupid so he uses her for her pretty face and to fire up the fan base that is quickly diminishing.
