Please explain to me the regressive,cellular origin and coevolution theory about virus!?

    (1) According to the REGRESSIVE THEORY, viruses were once small cells that parasitized larger cells. As they evolved, they lost all structures and genetic material that were not required for parasitism.

    (2) According to the CELLULAR ORIGIN THEORY, some viruses may have evolved from bits of DNA or RNA that "escaped" from the genes of a larger organism.

    (3) According to the COEVOLUTION THEORY, viruses may have evolved from complex molecules of protein and nucleic acid at the same time as cells first appeared on earth, and have been symbiotically dependent on cellular life for millions of years.
