I think she was ... the people hated her. They disliked where she was from and what she did ...
While all of France was starving she was building herself houses.
It made them angry.

Its been awhile since I took world history, but from what I remember she did spend a lot of money on herself and starved the people for a number of years. I heard she was pretty dull too lol

No, she wasn't.
It was really a huge collection of things and events, mostly political.
There were huge problems long before she even came along.
