What ingredients would you use to make your favorite sandwich?

I'm looking for some ideas. Be specific about types of bread, cheese, dressings, seasonings etc. Thanks. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Update:

OMG, these all sound so yummy!

This is the best sandwich as far as I am concerned.

A good quality crusty french or italian bread

    Volpi salami, cut thin

    roasted red peppers

    Provolone cheese

sprinkling of red pepper flakes if desired

Slightly heat bread, can be don in oven at 200 while getting ingredients ready.

    Cut bread in half lengthwise.

layer salami, cheese and peppers on the bread. Sprinkle with pepper flakes if using.

If you are in the mid west or other lucky location where the condiment "gardinaire" is available place some of that on sandwich. No other "dressing" is needed. (Gardinaire is a mixture of hot peppers, celery, olives, cauliflower and other veggies packed in olive oil.)

If you wish some lettuce OK but don't muck it up with mayo, mustard or anything else.

    Next best sandwich:

Good roll or bread, has to have some chew to it not mush bread.

    Rare roast beef

horseradish mixed with a little mayo, not much.

a cheese of choice.if you want cheese.

spread horseradish on bread or roll

    top with beef and cheese

    a few lettuce leaves

top with second slice of bread or roll that horseradish has also been spread onto.

White or potato bread. potato bread ads a kind of sweet taste.

    Turkey- roasted, or smoked.

    Cheddar cheese

Light mayo with a little ranch

    Tomato & pickles

If I'm getting at a restaurant or I feel like something different: add bacon or other types of bread.

White Bread. Miracle Whip. Sliced Turkey (OFF a Turkey- no longer Deli meat!). a skinny slice of uncooked onion. some crimson Leaf Lettuce. slightly Black Pepper. -And Viola! - Lunch !!! (and if that sounds alittle too comparable to "paintings", then you definately are ordinarily a minimum of alittle obese, & might desire to get alittle sport after college...). :)

I would use just simple white soft bread. I'd put mayo on both loaves, then I'd put lettuse, then 2 slices of havarti cheese (love cheese! lol) and then some turkey, and finally i'd put some potatoe chips in there....close the sandwich and smash it a bit so the chips crunch...mmm now i want one loll
