We have an infestation of carpenter bees and I think this bird is after the larvae.

I've had two dreams in the past few weeks that I was in direct conversation with George Carlin. In the last one, Carlin was a teacher and I was a student in his classroom.

I've always been a fan, he's really one of my favorite comedians, however I haven't been listening to him lately or thinking about him. In my dreams, he looks and sounds the same as he did in life and still on the elderly side.

I'm just curious. In the United States, there seems to be a definite preference for Pepsi in the west and Coke in the South. Not sure about the North.

I keep seeing these commercials encouraging men to buy these for their sweethearts and the women are oohing and awing over them. Personally, I find it insulting. Especially the teddy bears. Women are not simple minded and we are not children.

One of my daughters once said that a man that gives her a book is a man that would impress her. I have to agree. What do you all think?

I know there's nothing about it in the bible, but they had to have been bored sometimes. Did people tell jokes back then or sing and dance? Did they play games?

My daughter has worked at a major chain restaurant for 3 years. She's experienced because she worked at other restaurants before that and she also bar tends. Her hourly wage is slightly over $2 an hour and has never had a raise. They often call mandatory meetings that can last up to 2 hours and they do not pay the employees.

The manager is hot tempered and verbally abusive at times. Yes she gets tips but they vary. Sometimes she does well, other nights her tips might only be $30 for the whole night.

This is a very popular steakhouse in Tennessee. It seems though that they believe in slave labor. I've seen my daughter go to work with a fever because she was afraid of management. While she was working sick, the boss said to her sarcastically, "What's the matter with you? You're looking sour tonight". She never told him she was sick.

Yes she could leave but as we all know, the job market is poor right now. She's got a car payment and pays for her son's preschool, so she can't afford to walk away.

I love Mexican music in the style of Mariachi and I also like some Spanish pop and rock. I don't like the polka type music.

I do like singers that sing with emotion. It doesn't matter if the music is new or old. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Even if you don't believe, think of it as hypothetically possible. How will you feel when you realize that you've left the physical world and you're still conscious. What do you believe will be waiting there and what emotions will you feel?

This is my nephew. I think it is good, but I've never heard the music he's playing. He's been playing guitar for several years now.
