Will Gm ever bring back OldsMobile?

I was wondering if GM will ever bring back the Oldsmobile and why did they discontinue them?

Probably not. They discontinued them because sales had slipped badly and it was perceived as a car with no glamour, the sort of car that older people bought because it was reliable

I wish they would bring them back because they were well-finished and were good value..

BUICK is next soon GMC Chevrolet Saturn and Cadillac. Are all in danger. USA government bail out happened a week ago why are people not paying attention? Chrysler was paid 1.5 billion in the 80's every one knew about that. Now USA bails out auto makers again but over 150 billion and not even a whisper?

NOPE. Lack of sales is always the cause on ant deceased auto lines.

don't hold your breath. I've been waiting to buy a new De Soto for quite some time now.

please don't even mention the Edsel!

once a car line is gone, its gone for good.

Oldsmobiles were good cars, just like Pontiac's or Buick's

but sales of olds fell low enough that they quit making them.

I really don't think this is the time to introduce (or re-introduce) yet more big gas guzzlers into the vehicle line-up, what with the high gas prices and all.
