Do Republicans take the day off on MLK day although Mc Same didn't want to honor the holiday initially?

    i think it was the PEOPLE of arizona who objected, not just mccain. and by the way, unless you work for the government, it's just another work day!

    Republicans didn't want another reason for government workers to take a day off on the taxpayers' dime.

    I was initially in agreement, but I do believe honoring Dr. King's achievements was ultimately a good move.
