AGGRESSIVE GUPPY PROBLEM!!!?

I have an aggressive guppy that is about 3 weeks pregnant. She has killed 3 other tank mates. Me and my friends kid around and just say its all bc she is a crazy bc she is pregnant. But i am really mad now bc i spent all that money on them and now are afraid to buy more. Im hopeing these fry survive her wrath.

Update:

Well it cant be overcrowding bc there were only 4 of them in a 10 gallon tank. It couldnt be bc it wasnt cycled bc i cycled it for about 2 weeks with a cup or two of substraite from my other tank. It wasnt another cause other than her because i have seen her nip the others and i would wake up with the one dead and then the next day the other two dead. It couldnt be because there was no place to hide bc i have 1 fake and two real plants which provide pleanty of hiding space. And as for the fry i dont plan on separating them bc i am all about the stongest survive/ i dont have room for them all to survive so im letting nature take its course.

maybe it is because she is pregnant and does not fell comfortable around other fish. and what do you mean when you say, "hoping the fry survive her wrath?" I hope you know that you have to raise the fry in another tank alone since the other fish will eat them including the mom.

hi, i am not sure about your tank set up. are there any plants in there? its either she is not comfortable with her mates or something is creating stress for her. seems like it will be about another week before she gives birth. what you can do to save her fries. 1) ensure that she is well fed such that she will have no appetite to eat her babies. 2) not sure if the tank is totally empty now. if you have to separate her, do this. you do not need to buy a new tank. get 2 plastic containers. one of which has holes at the bottom and sides. this plastic basket need to be smaller than the bigger one but not too small just about fit.put this plastic basket over the bigger container. this can act as your fry tank... the holes will allow the fries to go to the bottom or swim away from danger. with the female being kept at bay. place the female in the basket with holes.make sure water level is there and enough room for her to swim.. do put some aquatic plants in it. use some of the old tank water when you set up this. this can act to calm her down. if you are in singapore, i can spare you some japan blue guppies... suitable for small tanks.. they do not grow too big for guppies.

Dude, that sounds pretty scarry! KILLED???? wow...

Never heard anything like it, but ill tell you this, it makes no difference to behaviur if shes pregnant or not. Im sure of it. What might be wrong though is that your tank is overcrouded, which forced her to become territorial. If its not that, i have no idea. Again, i woulnt hope she will change when she gives birth.

Try giving her one last chance, if she continues being this aggressive, then i would deffinetly get rid of her 1 way or another.

btw, r u sure that she killed them? was it not something else maybe??? Because it does sound crazy!

I'm wondering if your tank has had time to cycle? It could be that she is the healthiest of the fish you bought and that it didn't take much to knock the off.

How old is your tank? More or less than 12 weeks old?

Firstly you do not see what they do all the time , only a few hours of day light - They may mate at night , evening . or morning - Don't worry for a week or two as they will settle down

Separate her from the other fishes. She is pregnant and might feel unsafe with the other fishes.

Might be stating the obvious, but wouldn't it be best to separate her from your other fish before she kills any more?
