Danielle - Sorry, what you are looking for does not exist. 8mm is a completely different format than VHS. All you can do is connect your 8mm camcorder to a TV or VCR using the audio/video cable.
There is no converter - sorry.
If you don't have a 8mm camera, you will need to buy or borrow one.

You need a 8mm camcorder or deck, it's the only way. Hi8 and Digital-8 devices will also play back older 8mm tapes. There is NO 8mm-to-VHS adapter, where you put the tape into a larger cassette, which you then put into a VHS player. This only exists for VHS-C tapes. It never has existed for 8mm, and never will. Many people get confused and automatically assume that anything smaller than VHS is 8mm, that's all. I used to make the same mistake years ago. Weighing the costs of transfer versus a new camcorder/deck, transfer to DVD or VHS might end up actually being the better option. I know it's not the answer you want to hear, but those are your options. Good luck!

**There is no 8mm or Hi 8 to VHS Adapter that currently exsists. This type of VHS Adapter only exsists with VHS-C tape**

There is no converter for 8mm to VHS. Your best option is to get the 8mm tape digitized. Send it to stashSpace.com and they will digitize it for $7 and host it online for you to view and edit or send it back to you on DVD, dataDVD, or portable hard drive. Check them out at http://www.stashspace.com/

I take it that you want a converter for VHS-C to VHS, Best Buy has them available, just search Google for "VHS-C" to bring it up if the link below doesn't work.
I'm sorry, but I am unaware of any other type of Camcorder to VHS converter system.

I know what you're talking about. It is kind of old technology, I understand why you're having difficulty finding it.
I would suggest going to www.newegg.com, they have good deals on electronics.
If you can't find it there you might have to look for a camera/electronic specialty shop (maybe something like a Ritz camera shop) and they might have it. If they don't, most of the time you can special order anything you need.
