Lump on my neck after insect sting?

So the other day i was stung by an insect (bee, wasp, or hornet-like). I'm not for sure what it was, but a couple of days after i was stung right under my left cheek bone, a lump appeared under my chin/on the middle part of my neck.

Could the sting have made a gland swollen or something? The lump in the very middle of my neck, so i doubt my lymp nodes would swell. Thanks

Update:

The lump only hurts when I directly touch it. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the most pain, the pain is a 2 when i touch it.

you have lymph nodes all over the place and yes this might be a swollen gland or node. Just keep an eye on it. it doesn't sound too serious. You can try some benedryl and a warm compress to try to reduce the swelling

i think of the different published coated it nicely and can probable get ultimate answer. the main person-friendly situation indexed is a fatty cyst which isn't intense and can be unquestionably bumped off. i might lean in the direction of that based on your cats age. The blood stool is probable a separate difficulty possibly irritable bowel which there are drugs which will frequently sparkling that up. A teaspoon of common yogurt thats says it has stay cultures the different day there after is helpfull to maintain intestinal stability.

  • Yes, this is a distinct possibility but is the lump painful? If it persists for more than 7-10 days you would require further investigations to outline the cause of the lump.
