When gas was over $4 a gallon they blamed it on a weak dollar, the speculators and supply and demand.?

Now that oil is below $90 a barrel and the dollar is stronger why are we still getting raped at the pumps?

Simply put: Because it doesn't matter anymore.

10 years ago if we saw 3.50 a gal the oil companies would be bankrupt. But because of this "War for Freedom" we're fighting, the oil companies are milking it for every last drop. Technically, if its $90 a barrel, we should be back down to 1.90-2.00, but because we are now so used to paying the high prices, the oil companies will never drop their price.

    AND THAT'S A PROMISE.
