Subfwoofer Amp question?

I have 2 Rockford Fosgate P2 Punch's, they are each 12" 400 watt max and 200 watt RMS at 4 ohms, and i need some advice on an amp to power both of these speakes? I was looking at this amp http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6470_Alpine+MR...

and thinking about wiring it in paralell. Would that give me enough juice to run these?

Update:

they are both SVC, and im looking to buy only one amp

    Hey,

Running 4ohm subs parallel (Bridged) to a single channel Mosfet mono amp would be kind of hard. You wont get the needed power to hit both subs at ample specs. You'll get the minimum power. The best thing is to buy 2 mono amplifiers and run the subs separate.

The site you are on is great. I recommend it to anyone wanting to buy a system for their car.

are your p2's dual 4 or dual 2 ohm speakers???

you need to know so you subs can be wired to your amp correctly

if they are dual 2's you wire each sub in series and then the two together in parallel.

if you have dual 4's you'll have to wire each sub in parallel and then the two together in series
