I have read the book as well as seen the movie.
It's a film you either adore or you don't understand.
If you find acts of artistic gang violence as your thing,
with thousands of references to classical music
and hard to understand British school boy slang,
you'll think it's worth it.
If not, then you might not understand it.
I found it as a deep, yet mildly disturbing artistic masterpiece,
but, that's just me.
I prefer the book, but the movie is great as well.
I'd give the movie a B and the book a 1

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I definitely give the book a 1. It's a classic, everyone should have to read it.

Pretty good. Malcolm McDowell was superbly cast as Alex. You kind of love to hate him at the begining but later on you sympathise with what he's being put through when he's released. Kubrick's an awesome director and this shows us why.

I haven't read the book... but the movie was very, very strange. I know a few people that liked it alot, but I didn't care for it. I would rate it a D at best.

I have not read the book, but did see the movie eons ago. It was strange and disturbing. Now that I am a grownup I have enough sense to not waste my time in that way...

The movie was "off-beat," to say the least. I'd rate it a "C," not because
it was mediocre, but because there were parts I liked and parts I didn't.
