Is there a way of finding out if your home is under a flight path?

We live in Oxford and I'm sure our house is under a flight path, but want to check this out and get a definitive answer.

Does anyone know of any websites that document flight paths over specific postcodes in the UK? I've tried Google but not had much luck.

Thanks!

You live there and don't know? Just look up in the sky. If you are under a flight path you will see airplanes flying overhead. I live under a flight path for Dulles International, Baltimore, Reagan, and two air force bases, and all of the traffic out of these going west flies over our home, plus the local airport's west-bound traffic pattern over flies us. However, many of the aircraft make so little noise that we cannot hear them from inside the house. On many days, our sky is filled with contrails, as there is an aircraft flying over us about every 2 minutes. Pittsburgh and Cleveland traffic to the south also overflies us. Busy place, but very quiet.

Well what do you mean by "flight path?" Planes navigate via things like VORs, intersections, etc. There are things called airways. There are low-altitude airways and high altitude airways. Now, near an airport, there are traffic patterns that planes generally fly. These patterns vary depending on wind direction, traffic volume, and prevailing weather in the area. So are you asking about planes taking off and landing or planes that have already reached altitude?

If you do not like aircraft noise do not transfer practically Fairchild AFB haha. Like different men and women stated, determine out internet sites like flight conscious. Or seem at google maps and draw a directly line extending four or five miles from the runways - that's obviously wherein the worst of the aircraft noise can be. On the well aspect, so much airports do not have as a lot midnight and early morning noise as Memphis.
