Geometry Please Help ?

A triangular peak of one house is trimmed with three 6-ft pieces of molding. 18 ft of the molding are used to trim a second triangular peak. Are the 2 triangles formed congruent? EXPLAIN.

    Not necessarily !

    The first trimmed triangle must be equilateral, but the second will only be equilateral if the peak angle is 60º. It would be possible for the peak angle of the second house to be any size

    0 < x < 180

    The trianglular peak of the second will be isosceles, but not necessarily equilateral.
