There is no difference between the Elite and Arcade versions of the Xbox 360 except for the color. So it would be cheaper to just buy the 120GB hard drive and stick that on there. Unless you WANT the black console, then go for it but thats a lot of money.

xbox 360 arcade is just the console, nothing else, no music no pics etc. An Xbox 360 Full system has got all of that with a hard drive, but isnt HD. The elite is HD compatible i think and has better everything.

Well there isnt really much difference in the consoles themselves...

my xbox broke and couldnt get it replaced and had to get an arcade console... but already had the 20gb hard drive....

if its the modern arcade it will have all the same extras the other two consoles have.... apart from it not being black... (all include the HDMI port & new modded processors to stop the Red Ring)

so save yourself the trouble of selling...then buying.. by just buying the hard drive, But do you really need 120GB of memory, make sure you think about that... unless you download loads of films.. or every download for your games... theres much more sense in buying the new 60GB one.... or a 20gb one..

Um, it's a lot cheaper to just buy the 120GB HDD. If you have an original Xbox 360 and you buy an Elite, just for the HDD, that would be a waste of money.

elite looks better but go for ps3

if u put 120gb on a xbox 360 it ooks cheap if u have 120gb show off by having an elite or wait untill the end of this month for a 160gb ps3

Both consoles have a port for your HDMI cable for High Def gaming. However the Elite comes with the cable included in the box with it. An HDMI cable bought separate is going to run you about $80. So if you have a high definition television then definitely go with the XBOX 360 Elite.

    depends on your preference.

Its cheaper to buy 120GB HDD, which is what i did.

However if you prefer the black look and you have the spare cash but honestly for all the diference it would make to your game play. Although if you have HDMI TV and dont have a HDMI port on your xbox then yes upgrade otherwise i would recommend the HDD

All XBOX 360 consoles have the same hardware. If you got a new console the only advantage you would get would be a new warranty.
