I'm stuck without a stove. My super fixed it a gas leak in our hose that goes to the stove but the gas company cannot come and make sure it's safe until next week Now I have no way of cooking except microwave.. I want to get a crockpot/slow cooker.. Anyone have any one they recommend?

All of them will work about the same, but like the previous poster said, the original Crock Pot (I think affiliated with/ made by Sunbeam?)brand is your best bet for long-lasting quality and better design. We're talking about decades of perfecting the slow-cooker, and adding features such as removable crock for easier washing, travel handles, etc.
