What do the 4 Most Impactful market "Crashes" have in common?

The Top 4 were:

October 29, 1929 then October 19, 1987 , September 11, 2001 and October 3 (to 7th) , 2008. I will exclude Sept 11, 2001 for obvious reasons - but there are the others

I didn't find out until just now that they were all in October - that was interesting.

They all happened in the last year of a Republican President, and curiously always in October. What do you make of this?

    Add in the FACT that in all cases except 9/11....DEMOCRATS were in control of Congress......Can you say a Sept surprise to try and get a Democrat elected.....
