Who are ten people that you least respect from the last 1,000 yrs?

I THINK A BETTER QUESTION WOULD BE: HOW DO YOU TEACH RESPECT? Probably by killing, right? MAYBE NOT.

    BASICALLY KILLERS:

    HITLER.

    VLAD TEPES (Count Vlad Dracul).

    IVAN THE TERRIBLE.

    ADOLPH EICHMANN.

    POL POT

    STALIN.

    MOA TSE-TUNG.

    IDI AMIN.

    MUSOLINI

    GENGHIS KAHN

IF I HAD MORE TO LIST,...

    THAT I LEAST RESPECT?

    TOO MANY TO LIST!!!

    JOSEF MENGELE, definitely #11.

    CHARLES MANSON

    C. COLUMBUS

    H. CORTEZ.

    DAVID KORESH

    JIM JONES.

    JEFFREY DAHMER.

    WAYNE GASEY.

    WAYNE WILLIAMS

    F. CASTRO.

    PAPA 'DOC' DUVALIER

    EMPEROR NERO

    DICK NIXON

    BILL CLINTON

    CHANG KAI SHEK

Something to consider, please you people do not be angry:

    VLAD THE IMPALER?

ALL ROMANIANS AGREE HE WAS A HERO! GO FIGURE,...??? NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE BUT ON LISTS COULD THERE BE PEOPLE OF GREAT RESPECT IN THEIR OWN TIME? THE CULTURAL REVOLUTION KILLED 30 MILLION PEOPLE. Was it worth it? Who headed it? Where did they get that idea they needed to catch up? Are they surpassing us?

Walter Lantz, cartoonist for Pogo once quoted:

"We have met the enemy, and he is US."

Source(s): LOOK IT UP,...THERE IS A LOT OF WEIRD HISTORY THAT IS COVERED UP, and some that is easily accessible but put down. Looking up TYVM, now, I HOPE IT DOESN'T OFFEND ME. LOL

No ranking makes it a bit easier.

    1. Benito Mussolini--An arrogant, chest-thumping, tin-plated dictator who also managed to be spineless at the same time. Set the stage for unstable Italian governments that continues to this day.

    2. Henry Kissinger--As Secretary of State, put self-aggrandization, enrichment of government officials, and expansion of the administration's power base before the best interests of the United States. Not the first, or the last to do it, but most certainly the most egregious example of the species.

    3. Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran--Oppressed his people, plundered his country's treasury and made a show of not caring who knew it, or whether they liked it or not. Allowed the followers of Ayatollah Khomeini to gain a foothold in Iran, leading to his overthrow...and we all know the problems Iran, and the Islamic Fundamentalists have caused the world ever since.

    4. Kenneth Lay--The poster child for greed gone wild. Made a living of enriching himself at the expense of the people who worked hard for Enron to make him boatloads of money, and ultimately screwing many of them for life.

    5. Lyndon B. Johnson--Made a total mess of Vietnam. Used the totally fabricated Gulf of Tonkin Incident to escalate the war there, for the purposes of 1) protecting the interests of American Oil Companies, who had designs on oil deposits that they thought (but didn't know) existed in Southeast Asia., and 2) give the military an excuse to use all the new toys they had accumulated during the Cold War, and 3) enable his political supporters in the defense industry to extract zillions of dollars from the government in order to build newer, better and deadlier toys.

    6. Ronald Reagan--Took the "get government of our backs" idea to a ridiculous extreme. His deregulation of many segments of the financial industry set the stage for a lot of the difficulties we now find ourselves in...he pushed for the abolition of many laws and safe guards that were put in place during the Roosevelt Administration, only to have the players in the market go right back to the same practices that helped cause the Great Depression. Under the flag of cutting government spending, he axed many of the alternative energy initiatives started during the Carter and Ford Administrations. Began the practice of letting lobbyists write regulations for the industries they represent. I could go on for another couple hours, but I have four more guys to get to.

    7. Walter O'Malley--Because of greed, and greed alone, uprooted his prosperous Brooklyn Dodgers and moved them to the West Coast, duping the Idiot Horace Stoneham and his New York Giants into going with him. Brooklyn was never the garden spot of the universe, but the departure of the Dodgers had a big hand in the decline of the area, which it has never totally recovered from.

    8. Newt Gingrich--Did more to make polarizing rhetoric, demonizing opponents, embracing an "us vs. them" mentality, using anecdotal evidence in place of fact, and a "do as I say, not as I do" attitude a part of American politics than any other politician of the past 100 years.

    9. Ted Kennedy--It one thing to get drunk as a skunk at every opportunity. It's another thing all together when your drinking kills somebody else. And it takes the term "scumbag" to a whole other level, when you use your wealth, power, influence and family name to cover it up, and avoid responsibility for the act. Again, not the first or last to do this, but certainly the most reprehensible example.

    10. "Balco" Barry Bonds--Because I'm from Pittsburgh. Did you really think I was going to let Mr. "I hit a buck ninety eight in three straight post-seasons and couldn't throw out the slowest runner in the history of Major League Baseball at home from medium left-centerfield with a trip to the World Series on the line" off the hook? Guess again. The only reason he's at #10 is because I didn't take the time to rank this list.

Hey, thanks for the opportunity to vent a little...enjoy your weekend.

Jesus, Paul McCartney, Boy George, Socrates [this being, because his philosophical work lives on, and other philosophers quote from him and Plato all too often. A Socrates or Plato quote does not make your philosophical piece more credible, it actually puts out the thought that you don't have any of your ideas and words to write down. Plato. [Same as for Socrates.] Hilary Clinton, Anyone at the ACLU [What happened to the American Civil Liberties Union? It seems as if they are not a worthwhile organization anymore, they don't defend the people, they defend the idiots.]
