Is it ok to break God's Law? ?

We keep 9 out of 10 of them..don't kill, don't steal, etc...why do we not keep the one that say's REMEMBER? Aren't we breaking it when we go to church on Sunday? Can anyone show me IN THE BIBLE where we are to Break God's Law?

No, it is not ok to break God's Law. The Sabbath is Friday sunset to Saturday sunset as practiced from time immemorial by the Jews.

Those who worship on Sunday are indeed breaking the Law of God, but not just the 4th Commandment.

Read Leviticus 23 for an outline of the days that Almighty God says belong to HIM, then think about the days that man has made in the light of scripture.

We sin every single day of our lives.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

    God is a forgiving God.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Because we are of the flesh we are weak.

Mark 14:38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

If everyone studied their Bible every day, repented and pray every day the way we are supposed to,

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

Then we would have the strength to resist the temptation that causes us to disobey Gods Word and instructions.

God will deal with each and every one of us for ever single thing we do be it good or bad according to His will and in His time. No where in the Bible does it say that we are to break God's laws. But you already knew that.

In order to "break" God's law that was given to Israel through a covenant, you need to first be a party to that covenant. Seeing as that covenant ended, and was replaced by a superior covenant with better promises, I must wonder why you would want to be held to the conditions of an ended covenant you were not a party to.

You can "keep" the conditions of that covenant, and find yourself condemned before God, or you can "fulfill" the law through the spirit, aka the law of faith, and live.

So... show me IN THE BIBLE where we are to keep that law we were not a party to; that covenant law Christians die to (Romans 6) and that God in the personage of Jesus died to (Romans 7).

No its not ok & the one that we really should keep, people say we can

do that any day. We all break the Torah/Law, but the thing to do is

Repent & Return to YHWH our Abba & try again relying on His help by His Spirit in the Name of Y'shua Ha Moshiach.

Seeing as the Sabbath was made for man, man cannot just change it

to suit himself, the blessing of Rest is on that day, the 7th Day which

is saturday on the western calendar. YHWH says " You shall keep

My Sabbaths" That makes 52 weekly Sabbaths & 7 High Sabbaths.

Each 7th day belonged to the Lord and would not be a work day but one set apart (holy) for rest and for time devoted to the worship of Yahweh. The term Sabbath is derived from ' to rest or cease from work.' Moses, in the review of the Decalogue, also linked the observancee of the Sabbath with Israel's exodus from Egypt and specified that this was why Israel was to keep it. (Deut.5:12-15)

Significantly, the command for the Sabbath is not repeated in the NT, whereas the other 9 are. In fact, it is nullified (Col.2:16-17). Belonging especially to Israel under the Mosaic economy, the Sabbath could not apply to the believer of the church age, for he is living in the new economy.

actually jesus broke it as well

John 5:18: "Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God."

lol. god killed, stole land from others gave it to his people. stole slaves from egyptian rulers while "his" people were allowed to have slaves.

idk doesnt make much since for a god that is so almighty and omnipitent to be so anthropomorphic

Jesus said to obey the laws of the land. If your job requires you to work on Sunday or be fired you have to work! Most Churches have Sunday night services or Wed nigh service. You have to think about keeping that job.

Rom 6:14 Sin is no longer your master, for you are no longer subject to the law, which enslaves you to sin. Instead, you are free by God's grace.

Rom 6:15 So since God's grace has set us free from the law, does this mean we can go on sinning? Of course not!

Rom 6:16 Don't you realize that whatever you choose to obey becomes your master? You can choose sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God and receive his approval.

Rom 6:17 Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you have obeyed with all your heart the new teaching God has given you.

Rom 6:18 Now you are free from sin, your old master, and you have become slaves to your new master, righteousness.

Rom 7:4 So this is the point: The law no longer holds you in its power, because you died to its power when you died with Christ on the cross. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, you can produce good fruit, that is, good deeds for God.

Rom 7:5 When we were controlled by our old nature, sinful desires were at work within us, and the law aroused these evil desires that produced sinful deeds, resulting in death.

Rom 7:6 But now we have been released from the law, for we died with Christ, and we are no longer captive to its power. Now we can really serve God, not in the old way by obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way, by the Spirit.

Rom 7:7 Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is evil? Of course not! The law is not sinful, but it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, "Do not covet."[fn2]

Rom 7:8 But sin took advantage of this law and aroused all kinds of forbidden desires within me! If there were no law, sin would not have that power.

Rom 7:9 I felt fine when I did not understand what the law demanded. But when I learned the truth, I realized I had broken the law and was a sinner, doomed to die.

Rom 7:10 So the good law, which was supposed to show me the way of life, instead gave me the death penalty.

Rom 7:11 Sin took advantage of the law and fooled me; it took the good law and used it to make me guilty of death.

Rom 7:12 But still, the law itself is holy and right and good.

Rom 7:13 But how can that be? Did the law, which is good, cause my doom? Of course not! Sin used what was good to bring about my condemnation. So we can see how terrible sin really is. It uses God's good commandment for its own evil purposes.

Rom 7:14 The law is good, then. The trouble is not with the law but with me, because I am sold into slavery, with sin as my master.

Rom 7:15 I don't understand myself at all, for I really want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead, I do the very thing I hate.

Rom 7:16 I know perfectly well that what I am doing is wrong, and my bad conscience shows that I agree that the law is good.

Rom 7:17 But I can't help myself, because it is sin inside me that makes me do these evil things.

Rom 7:18 I know I am rotten through and through so far as my old sinful nature is concerned. No matter which way I turn, I can't make myself do right. I want to, but I can't.

Rom 7:19 When I want to do good, I don't. And when I try not to do wrong, I do it anyway.

Rom 7:20 But if I am doing what I don't want to do, I am not really the one doing it; the sin within me is doing it.

Rom 7:21 It seems to be a fact of life that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong.

Rom 7:22 I love God's law with all my heart.

Rom 7:23 But there is another law at work within me that is at war with my mind. This law wins the fight and makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.

Rom 7:24 Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin?

Rom 7:25 Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God's law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.
